Lalitha Sahasranama Pooja is dedicated to Lalitha Devi. This is taken from Brahmanada Purana and divided into three parts Poorva Bhaga, Stotra, and Uttara Bhaga. The Poorva Bhaga talks about its origin, Stotra consists of 1000 Namas, and Uttara Bhaga gives details of the benefits of recitation of this Lalitha Sahasranamam.
Lalitha Sahasranamam came directly from Shiva, which he passed to Nandi. From Nandi, it went to Hayagriva and then to Sage Agastya muni. This Parayanam is more influential than any Tantra or Mantra when chanted with pure devotion. Lalitha Sahasranama Pooja is conducted by doing Ganapathi pooja, Sodasupchara pooja, and Parayanam is done.
