‘Satya’ means Truth, ‘Nara’ means Human and ‘Ayan ’a place where truth resides’, so Satyanarayana Pooja is performed to appease Vishnu Devaru. This Katha teaches us about truth, self-purification, and surrender to god. Performing this pooja on a full moon day with devotion bestows us with the blessings of Lord Narayana.

Satyanarayana Pooja is performed by doing Ganesha Pooja and invoking Lord Satyanarayana, and chanting of mantras and katha is told in the praise of lord Satyanarayana and pooja is carried out as per shastras and vidhana.

When to Perform Satyanarayana Pooja?

Date can be fixed as per one’s janma nakshatra or birth star. Purnima, Ekadashi and Saturdays are beneficial to perform this pooja.

  2. How Long does the Pooja take to complete?
    • Poojas are typically performed for 1 to 3+ hours at the same time it also depends on the package selected for the Pooja.
  3. When will I get the Prasad for my Pooja if I select Vedic Pooja Center since I'm abroad?
    • You will receive the Prasad for your Pooja within 14 working days after the Pooja has been performed (Subject to the country and the customs department of that particular country).
